Roots Manuva has returned. Arguably one of the best rhymesmiths to come from the United Kingdom, Roots has been releasing music for north of two decades and there’s more on the way. Big Dada Recordings just dropped a brand new Machinedrum-produced track that will be released on the B-side of the forthcoming Facety 2:11 single. Facety itself is a track produced by Four Tet so it seems that Roots Manuva is continuing to push his own musical boundaries.
Brass-laced percussion forms the base of Machinedrum’s production and combined with Roots Manuva’s unique voice we’re very pleased with the final product; to be honest we’re feeling it even more than the A-side. Have a listen below and let us know what you think.
Facety 2:11 (with the above track on the flipside) will be released on 4th May, pre-order from iTunes or from here if you prefer a physical copy.
